This post is kind of cheating, because these videos are old. Anyway, thanks to AL, who reminded me about them. I haven’t watched them in so long. They made me smile so now you can suffer while I play the annoying mom. (“Jehr-REE… You have to come see the BAY-BE!”)
Not only am I a Blogging Fool this week, my hiatus has transformed me into a hypocrite. So much for leaving the kids’ faces off. Eh. Don’t judge me. I am a flake. And besides, annoying mom trumps any rules.
They are almost 2.5 here. Bean is trying to tell Buddy not to paint his face, without success. (Btw AL, I didn’t shoot the video, so you’ll have to ask G!)

Your kids rock. Really. And know who rocks even more? YOU. Seriously, I let Em paint at home too… while I hover nearby with cleaning products. *sigh* I figure I’ll become more relaxed as her skill / coordination improve. I think.

as i am laughing my ass off, i am trying to not feel too sorry for agpie and magoo. i am going to get paints tomorrow. what kind won’t stain their skin (the washable crayola shit does).
seriously. they are too cute and if you are wondering what your best purchase in the past 5 years has been. i’d vote for the videocamera. those videos are going to make you laugh under any/ all circumstances.
