Bad timing is house-hunting when one of the largest and oldest financial institutions is about to go bankrupt, sending the market (and mortgage rates and loans) into a tailspin. Let’s hope the latest news stabilizes things in the near future. Otherwise we might be knocking on your door soon with a truckload of boxes behind us.
Good timing is spring right around the corner. Lazy days outside sound perfect right about now.

Love those relaxed pics of the twins at play… Can Em come play too?
Oh my… I might be reading too much into these two photos but can I say, in MY oh-so-humble opinion, that each captures their personalities so perfectly??
And… can you be kind to this English major and tell me… so, do those articles (which gave me a headache as I tried to piece things together!) say that it’s a bad time all around to sell OR buy?
Actually, that kinda sounds like fun.
Which would mean, if things don’t turn around, you, G, B&B would be more than welcome to show up at our door since I’d have a house that I can’t sell with 2 empty bedrooms.
Love those pictures. Bella likes to swing on her belly like that.
Good luck with the house hunt. Right there with you.
it is all in the timing, huh? hope you find the right time for your house hunting, love the swing action. great photos.
oof. I hear you. I don’t know what we’re going to do about our housing sitchyation.
don’t we have the same camera? you take some kick-butt photos.
Should a good time to be a buyer unless you’re having a difficult time arranging a mortgage.
Should be a good time to buy some stock too. I’m a firm believer that what goes down, will eventually come back up.
And it’s always a good time to ride a swing on your stomach. Ah, to be little again.
And speaking of timing and random thoughts, I was thinking if you lived around me, I’d totally invite you to my Gals’ Crafty night.
vis a vis the whole privacy thing, we really have to be creative about the photos we do post of our kids, huh? hope everything works out, housing wise. otherwise, we’ve got two kids’ rooms that aren’t being used. can you say co-sleeping?
Caps lock is off!! YAY!!!!
Good luck on the house… that’s been going on for you guys for a LONG time, hasn’t it?
I popped in from Liz’s blog & read a bit - you’re hilarious! Love your attitude. I wish more parents had it.
This post sounds like it was ripped from my life. Thankfully we’re not buying or selling right now, but every time my husband and I attempt to do something major, all h-e-double hockeysticks breaks loose. Last time we sold, the market went down & our neighbors sold really low - we only made 1,000 off the sale. At least we didn’t lose, but it was on the market for MONTHS. Good luck, keep your chins up!
Ugh. The housing market. I so want to get out of my condo/townhouse. Good luck on your end.
And I want you to know I’ve been reading every word you write. I just figure since I’ve given up laundry, dishes, and cooking I might as well give up commenting on blogs. It’s wrong, I know.
