Belated Chrismukkah Greetings

A belated holiday cheer on behalf of the halffamily:

I must give credit where credit is due for this, because I copied this idea from Design Mom, who got the idea from a wonderful photographer, Jan Von Holleben. Originally I had intended to make it more obvious that the twins were on the ground because that is really part of the intrigue in his photos, but, well… you can’t put me near Photoshop and not expect me to use it. (Photoshop is a bad habit sometimes.)

B & B were both very into the whole thing. We were shocked that they laid still for so long. And I really couldn’t believe that Bean walked away without getting kicked in the head by Buddy. It was a Chrismukkah miracle!

They came home from school in December singing, “I Have a Little Dreidel,” and, “Hanukkah, oh Hanukkah,” which was awesome. Maybe someday we can spend the holiday with FingKASIL and she can show us how it’s done, for reals.

Hope you all have a very very happy 2008.

I love it. If you were me, or if I were you, that card would never have happened.

We all loved your card! (Welcome to your beautiful new online home, by the way.) When my son saw the picture he said, “How did Buddy jump up so high?” This is the same son that asks nightly, “Are you and Daddy staying home after I go to bed … FOR REALS?” — so I also appreciated you using that phrase in your post. I guess the huz and I use the term a bit too often around the house!

Thank goodness you revealed the secret behind the card… had me wondering how you ‘hung’ up your kids AND had them pose so perfectly. Mad skillz, indeed.

We were so pumped to get this card! As my people would say, “Gezundt en zeineh keppelach.” Even Grandma Bubbeh (my mother) was into it! It would be my honor and my pleasure to celebrate the Festival of Lights with youz. Next year in the Holy Land (and by that I mean Hawaii.)

That is such a cool idea. I’ll have to try and remember it for when Jasmine gets older.

This is truly beautiful. I really want to rip it off, but hey, I won’t because I’m not that kind of girl and um…I wouldn’t know how anyway. :)
