(Found this on swissmiss, one of my fave design blogs.)
A NYC art installation in DUMBO:

My favorite TO DO contributions (from swissmiss’ flickr pages and Illegal Art’s (the creators) previous installations):
- SMILE & MAKE OTHERS SMILE
(next to it:)
- ^ KILL THIS PERSON
- QUIT being afraid of Wisconsin
Here are mine:
- Sell house.
- Stop procrastinating.
- Finish reading motivational book.
- Try not to go postal in emails to clueless clients.
- Tell my kids how funny they are. Again.
- Stop finding new blogs to read.
- Finish blog post. Just one of them.
What are your TO DOs?

- start being afraid of wisconsin
- do not give in to urge to strangle sister who just moved into neighborhood
- stop procrastinating as soon as I feel like it (get it? never)
- stop being complacent about letting people think I’m pregnant and offering me seats on the subway…ie.go to gym
Oh geez, I think every single day I’m creating a whole new ‘to do’ list as an addendum to the previous day’s list. It just never ends!
Today’s list starts off something like this:
- start working out (yeah, from two months ago)
-spend more quality time with the kids (instead of running around trying to get stuff done while hanging out with them; ie “live in the moment”)
- keep in touch with old friends on a more regular basis
- get to bed earlier!!!
See? Now aren’t you glad you asked? Ha!
- Find something for lunch
- Get back to blogging since our summer break is over
- Leave hubby alone so he can study
- Finish the first draft of an organizational blueprint for work (doesn’t that already sound boring?)
- Give the baby book a second, and maybe third, glance
- Eat something else
- Quit waffling between 2- and 3-day per week preschool
I could go on and on… but as you see, it’s all pretty boring today. Now what am I gonna do first? Oh yeah, take a nap!
– Stop eating chocolate, yeah, right
– Figure out where the money is going to come from to pay the bills
– Make out profusely with hot hubby
– Plat impending soon to be 3 years old birthday party
Hmm…
- Stop complaining about my business trips to Wisconsin
- Go into the office already (my plant is dead) or at least bush my teeth before my morning meetings
- Say, “Nah…”
- Sing
- Laugh
- Teach Evie how to play with the Chinese jump rope I made her during today’s morning meeting from that old ball of rubberbands
- Get some lunch
- Hug someone
Yeah, “stop finding new blogs to read” should be on my list.
pack for trip home next week
buy dresser for Bella’s room
cook dinner
play with Bella (and be more “present” when I am with her)
exercise
Hey mine is: stop finding new blogs to read, too! I could also stop procrastinating if I weren’t reading all these damn blogs, but there’s just so many good ones (yours included).
That reminds me, I really should get off the computer now.
Must go to bed… earlier. Did you see the recent Oprah with Nate Berkus? He gives tips on how to beautify your home so that it sells fast. Maybe it’s on YouTube or something.
Good luck.
-go to sleep earlier…(I go to bed around 5am-7am est)
-seriously…need to stop procrastinating
-eat a bit healthier? (that’s gonna be hard)
-spend some quality time with my daughter instead of sitting in front of this forsaken computer either working or blogging…
I think mine is more of a to don’t list.
T-berry - you go to bed at 5AM? Whoa, I thought I had insomnia pretty bad. Game over!
