Operation Nutsoff From G’s POV

G has graciously offered to guest blog for me over on Parenting today:

I am a total sap. Once, at the end of a horrible Jennifer Aniston movie, Halfmama turned to tell me what a horrible movie that was and found tears running down my blubbering face. I have internal debates over whether Four Weddings and a Funeral was better than Notting Hill (no, it’s not). And when I’m out for a walk and see a new mother or father of newborn twins, I forget the sleepless nights trying to get two screaming blobs to burp for hours on end and just think to myself dreamily, “Awww, they must smell soooo good.” …

Click here to read more about Decision ’o7: Operation Nutsoff. Read also about how he is a total sap. Which would be really sweet if I wasn’t so cynical.

(I’m just kidding. He rocks my world.)

Oooh, Funcle. We wub. This blog simply confirms what those of us who wub you already know: You are the sweetest. The most loving. The kindest. Big hug to you. What we did not know, or even suspect, however was your talent with literary devices. I note two excellent similes here, not to mention innumerable witticisms. Is it time for you to stop being the Joan Rivers of blogging, and instead get your own show?

Great post and you are so lucky to have a man willing to “take one for the team”. But who’s Dan Goldstein?

That was a really great post. My husband also had a vasectomy a few years ago and it was his idea too. Halfmama, we’re two lucky women. G. you’re awesome, I hope the swelling and the pain goes away really quickly, take care!

Hey there! Just wanted to check in and say ‘hey there!’ and let you know that I loved G.’s post on Parenting! I’m sending it to Hubz with a couple of elbow jabs to get his, er, um, THE ball rolling on our own little project nuts-off! Also, wanted to see how you felt about writing for a mom/dad blog…I know your life is already busy and all being Ms. Domestic/SuperMom/and KickAss Wife and all, but…let me know.

    Cheers!
